I am interested in contacting any researcher at the Institute who could provide information on Campylomormyrus tamandua (Mormyridae) that occurs in and around Lake Kainji. I would be interested in collaborating with anyone who could procure specimens of this species.
Freshwater study, species diversities identification, study on health hazardous chemical formed in fish during fresh and frozen storage, identify natural toxic substances in fish, fish nutritional studies etc.
Limnology unit, Natural Resources Programme of the Institute. Since 1993 to 2016 we have worked on 32 inland water bodies in Nigeria. We were at Mashing and Ruwansanyin dams. We study their, morphology, primary productivity, potential fish yield, phyto ecology, zoo ecology, macro benches, micro benthos, plankton biomass, sedimentology, Freshwater pollution study and others.
